Abstract
PT Sumber Gunung Maju is a company engaged in the mining industry andesite stone. PT Sumber Gunung Maju carries out the andesite stone processing by operating the crushing unit plant with a production target of 90,000 tons / month. The average conveyor belt capacity is 78.6 TPH for splits 2/3, 157.2 TPH for split 1/2, and for rock ash as much as 109.2 TPH. PT Sumber Gunung Maju owns a problem where the production target has never been achieved and has not reached the company's scheme. Where from the results of research that has been carried out during the month of September it is known that the actual calculations in the field by measuring each variable above the conveyor belt the resulting capacity for split 2/3 namely 77 TPH, to split 1/2, 156.70 TPH, and for rock ash 94.01 TPH. When compared between the actual calculation with the target capacity of the company from the entire conveyor belt is still 94% from the target and shows less than optimal performance. From the production per September 2019 from the company produced is 72204 tons / month where this result is still 79% of the desired production target achieved by the company. The obstacle factor is the material from the quarry to be processed into the crushing plant unit, where the material losses that are not included in the primary crushing are 14.80% and the incoming material amounted to 85.19%. Other obstacles are maintenance of the equipment, weather conditions and the time the equipment is available affect the belt capacity where the willingness value for the belt conveyor tool in primary crushing (UA = 77.73%, PA = 89.58%, MA = 86.99%), and for conveyor belts in secondary crushing (UA = 77.5%, PA = 90.58%, MA = 88.17%). Evaluation is carried out on production targets, namely by reducing time standby because the value of willingness to use is still not maximal, perform maintenance of the tool properly and by adding material (feeding) from the mining results.
