Abstract

Tahap larva mempunyai mortalitas yang tinggi karena kepekaanya terhadap predator, ketersediaan makanan, dan perubahan lingkungan yang terjadi di habitat. Penelitian ini dilakukan diperairan Sungai Musi, Kota Palembang mengingat aktivitas yang ada disepanjang aliran Sungai Musi diduga akan berdampak terhadap biota perairan terutama larva ikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei hingga Juni 2020. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode survey, titik awal pengambilan sampel dengan mengggunakan metode purposive sampling dan teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik Cruise Track Design, dengan lintasan survey continues pararel. Hasil yang didapatkan dari 11 lokasi stasiun sebanyak 291 individu larva ikan dengan 5 spesies. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa perairan Sungai Musi, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan ditemukan sebanyak 5 spesies larva ikan yang terdiri dari Coilia lindmani sebanyak 162 individu larva ikan, Dermogeny pusilla sebanyak 106 individu, Trichogaster trichopterus sebanyak 5 individu, Pectenocypris korthausae sebanyak 3 individu, dan Omobranchus ferox sebanyak 15 individu. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman jenis larva ikan menunjukan keadaan rendah yaitu sebesar 0.96, dan nilai indeks kemrataan jenis larva ikan termasuk dalam kategori sedang yaitu sebesar 0,599. Kelimpahan jenis larva ikan tertinggi yaitu larva Coilia lindmani sebesar 55,67% dan jenis larva ikan terendah yaitu Pectenocypris korthausae sebesar 1,03%.
