Abstract

This study aims to develop an appropriate and practical Sudoku game with wild animal pictures for group B children kindergarten. The development model used a combination of the Rowntree and Tessmer development models. The Rowntree development model consists of three stages, namely analysis, development, and the evaluation. It used Tessmer's formative evaluation which consists of self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, and small group evaluation. The result of the expert review showed an average percentage of the assessment result of developed Sudoku game by experts in the media and material development. The value reaches 95% with an extremely valid category. The results of the one-to-one evaluation and small group evaluation showed a percentage of 93% with a very practical category. Therefore, researchers really hope that this sudoku game tool is useful to help the learning process of children about wild animals. The advantages of Sudoku game tools illustrated by Wild animal subthemes can encourage children to think logically, introduce wild animals, teach children to solve problems, easy to use by children, attractive and safe for children. Therefore, Sudoku game with wild animal pictures is stated to be valid and practical so that it can be applied in learning about wild animals. Keyword : Sudoku game with pictures, wild animal
