Abstract

Vulva hygiene merupakan tindakan perawatan pada area kewanitaan yang sangat penting untuk dilakukan, guna merawat area kewanitaan dan mencegah terjadinya berbagai macam penyakit infeksi pada reproduksi yang disebabkan oleh virus, bakteri, dan jamur. Pengetahuan remaja putri di pondok pesantren Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya mengenai vulva hygiene masih rendah, sehingga dikhawatirkan dampak negatif dari tidak melakukan vulva hygiene dapat terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan melalui media video edukasi terhadap tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap remaja putri tentang vulva hygiene di pondok pesantren Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya. Desain penelitian ini adalah pra eksperimental dengan metode one group pre-posttest design. Teknik yang digunakan adalah non probability menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja putri kelas VIII Tsanawiyah Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 76 sampel. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan responden dalam kategori baik sebanyak (61,8%) dan terjadi peningkatan sikap positif sebanyak (78,9%). Didapatkan hasil terdapat pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan dengan media video edukasi terhadap pengetahuan pretest dan posttest dengan menggunakan uji statistik marginal homogeneity dengan hasil p-value=0,000. Dan adanya pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan dengan media video edukasi terhadap sikap pretest dan posttest dengan uji statistik mcnemar dengan hasil p-value=0,000. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pengetahuan dan sikap remaja putri sebelum dan setelah diberikan intervensi berupa pendidikan kesehatan melalui media video edukasi tentang vulva hygiene. Diharapkan bagi UKS pondok pesantren Al-Ittifaqiah dapat membuat program pendidikan kesehatan dengan menggunakan media video edukasi untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap remaja putri khususnya tentang vulva hygiene. The teenagers’ knowledge in Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya Islamic boarding school of vulva hygiene are still low, so it is feared that the negative impact of not taking care vulva hygiene can be occurred. The use of educational videos is expected to improve teenagers’ knowledge and attitud well. This study aims to determine the effect of health education by using educational videos on the level of teenagers’ knowledge and attitude about vulva hygiene at Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya Islamic boarding school. The design of this study was pre-experimental with the one group pre-posttest design method. The technique used is non-probability using purposive sampling technique. The population in this study was female of VIII class Tsanawiyah Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya with the total sample was 76 samples. The results of this study found that there was an increase in respondents’ knowledge in the good category (61.8%) and there was an increase in positive attitudes (78.9%). The results showed that there is an influence of health education by using educational video media on the knowledge of pretest and posttest using marginal homogeneity statistical tests with the results of p-value=0,000. The influence of health education with educational videos media on the pretest and posttest attitudes by testing the statistical tests with the results of p-value=0,000. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of knowledge and attitudes of teen before and after the intervention in the form of health education by using educational video media about vulva hygiene. It is hoped that school’s health clinic (UKS) of Al-Ittifaqiah Islamic boarding school can make health education programs by using educational video media to increase teenager’s knowledge and attitude, especially about vulva hygiene.
