Abstract

Stock price is a very important factor for capital market players, because fluctuations in stock prices will affect investor profits and corporate image. if the share price increases, investors will benefit both from the difference in stock price increases and dividends that will be received. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Current Ratio, Debt To Equity Ratio, and Return On Assets on Share Prices in Consumption Goods Industry Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study were manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015-2018 period, amounting to 56 companies. The data collection technique used in this study was purposive sampling by taking a sample of 38 companies that met predetermined criteria and the analysis technique used was descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the Current Ratio has no effect on stock prices, Debt To Equity Ratio has a positive and significant effect on stock prices, and Return On Assets has a positive and significant effect.
