Abstract

Province of Bengkulu is a malaria endemics region. Public Health Centre of Sekayun is one of the highest malaria occurance in Regency of Bengkulu Tengah as many 52 cases positive malaria. The aims of this research are to know relation of house enviroment and society behaviour with malaria occurence in activity region of public health centre of sekayun kabupaten bengkulu tengah in 2019 This research is a quantitative analitic survey with case control approach.The total sample 96 respondents, consists of 48 people case group and 48 people control group. There were five variables which had relation with malaria incident namely the variable of net on the house ventilation (P value = 0,004, OR=3,8), house ceiling (P value = 0,024, OR=2,8), the grove of trees (P value = 0,008, OR=3,3), puddle (P value = 0,017, OR=3,2) and the act of prevention of malaria (P value= 0,000, OR=6,1), Whereas there was no significant relation between knowledge variable (P value =0.396) with malaria incident. it is hoped that the people can repair house environment such as installing the net house ventilation, house ceiling and combat the nest of malaria mosquitos.
