Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi termodinamika. Penelitian dilakukan pada SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang dengan subjek penelitian 35 siswa dikelas XI IPA 2. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen Thermodynamic concept survey TCS. Analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif digunakan untuk mencari persentase rata-rata pemahaman konsep siswa. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 1) skor pemahaman konsep siswa rendah yaitu sebesar 6,5 persen, 2) terdapat 6,5 persen siswa paham konsep, 17,1 persen siswa paham konsep sebagian, 17,1 persen siswa paham konsep sebagian disertai miskonsepsi, 25,7 persen siswa miskonsepsi utuh dan 85,7 persen siswa tidak paham konsep. Implikasi penelitian, guru perlu menganalisis pemahaman konsep siswa dan memilih strategi pembelajaran perubahan konseptual yang cocok untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa.
