Abstract

Musik sebagai salah satu media penyampai pesan menjadi sebuah metode yang digemari masyarakat karena didalamnya terdapat unsur hiburan, begitu juga dalam penyampaian kritik terhadap kehidupan sosial masyarakat. Korupsi merupakan tindakan kejahatan yang terjadi secara turun-temurun terjadi di Indonesia yang lambat laun menyita perhatian dan reaksi masyarakat tak terkecuali seniman musik. Lagu Tikus-Tikus Kantor muncul pada masa orde baru dimana pada masa itu pemerintahan Indonesia dibawah kepemimpinan presiden Soeharto dikenal dengan kasus-kasus korupsi yang menjadikan Soeharto di cap sebagai presiden terkorup di berbagai media. Lagu Tikus-Tikus Kantor yang dipopulerkan Iwan Fals menjadi pesan kritik sosial dalam mengkaji peristiwa korupsi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Kritis oleh Jurgen Habermas serta menggunakan pendekatan Hermeutika oleh Paul Ricoer dalam menafisrkan makna kritik sosial dalam lagu Tikus-Tikus Kantor. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menafsirkan kritik sosial dalam lirik lagu Tikus-Tikus Kantor. Hasil dalam penlitian ini adalah kritik sosial dalam lagu Tikus-Tikus Kantor yang diperoleh melalui pendekatan Hermeneutika mencakup Intensi atau maksud pengarang, situasi kultural dan kondisi sosial pengadaan teks serta untuk siapa teks itu dimaksudkan berlandaskan teori Kritis oleh Jurgen Habermas yang mengacu pada tiga poin kritis yakni tindakan komunikatif, tindakan strategis serta Lebenswelt (Dunia-Kehidupan). Kata Kunci: Kritik sosial, Hermeneuitka, musik, Tikus-Tikus Kantor. Music as one of a message transmitter has become the ost favorite way that popular in the society, music contain essential function to entertaint while at the same time as a way for a critic in the society’s social life. Corruption is a crime culture that have been problem for year in Indonesia, the massive amount of case in Indonesia has taking enormous attention from the people including the artist and the musician. The “Tikus-tikus Kantor” (The Office Rat) song emerge in the new order era of President Soeharto regime, in that context of time, there have been a massive case of corruption conducted by the public authorities, Soeharto known for its corrupt government and the most corrupt leader in the history of modern world by the International media.”Tikus-tikus Kantor”popularize by Iwan Fals has bring a critic message and become one of the most well-known critic music for Indonesian government.This research conducted by using the critical theory of Jurgen Habermas also using the theory of Hermeneutics by Paul Ricoeur in interpreting the critics message in the “Tikus-Tikus Kantor” song. This research aims to interpret the meaning of social critics in the “Tikus-Tikus Kantor” song. According to that method this research has several findings which consisted the intension of the text made by the artist, cultural situation when the text was created, and also the people or group purposed by the text in the creation. This text is also relate on by three critical points which consisted by communicative action, strategic action, and Lebenswelt (Life-Realm).
