Abstract
This research is development research to produce Basic Chemical teaching materials of Thermodynamics based STEM Problem Based Learning which is valid and practical for chemistry education students. The development model used is the ADDIE development model that was modified with Tessmer formative evaluation. The steps to develop the product were used analysis, design, and development. The steps of Tessmer's formative evaluation in this research are self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one and small group. Based on the expert validation result, the value of worthy for validation material of 0,83 with high category, the validation pedagogic of 0,92 with high category, and validation design of 0,87 with high category. Based on the practicality test result on one-to-one is 88,83% with very practical category and a small group is 90,68% with very practical category. The results of the evaluation indicate that Basic Chemical teaching materials of Thermodynamics based STEM Problem Based Learning has valid and practical.
