Abstract

This research is a type of research and development (research and development) and uses research methods (four D) 4-D. Who tried to make a media video tutorial on the use of a kepla in making gear. The subject of this research is the Mechanical Engineering students of Sriwijaya University class of 2017 and the object of research is a video tutorial. The method used in this research and development is (four D) 4-D which has four stages, namely: defining (defining), designing (Design), development (Development), and dissemination (Dissiminate). The technique of collecting data uses a questionnaire or questionnaire. The results of the research that have been done are video tutorials that are declared valid on the material and media with an average score of 72% and 88%. The results of product trials and practical use trials stated practical video tutorials with an average of 77.06%, 87%, and 81.85%. This decent video tutorial is worth using.
