Abstract

This research, entirled the Communication Strategy of Information Centers and Adolescent Counseling (PIK R) in Disseminating Knowledge of Adolescent Reproductive Health in South Selatan. The purpose of this research was to determine the Communication Strategy of Information Centers and Adolescent Counseling (PIK R) in Disseminating Knowledge of Adolescent Reproductive Health in South Selatan. In this research, the authors used the communication strategy theory by Effendy. This research method uses qualitative methods with descriptive data types. Data collection techniques are done by in-depth interviews, observation and study documentation. This results of this study indicate that communication strategy carried out has four stages that are relevant to the theory, namely indetifying communication targets, selecting communication media, assesing the purpose of communication massages and the role of the comunicatot. However, in this stage the role of the communicator has not been able to generate adolescent confidence in the credibility of the cunselor during the conseling session. Teenagers have not been able to opnely share their problems and they prefer to tell stories with their close friends.
