Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan Vinil Chloride Monomer (VCM) dengan kapasitas produksi 100.000 ton/tahun ini direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2025 di Jl. Raya Bojonegara, Kecamatan Bojonegara, Kabupaten Serang yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area sebesar 4 Ha. Bahan baku dari pembuatan VCM ini adalah Ethylene Dichloride (EDC). Proses pembuatan VCM ini mengacu pada Patent EP 2788308 B1 dengan proses pirolisis EDC membentuk produk VCM dan HCl. Reaktor yang digunakan berupa reaktor jenis furnace. Reaktor beroperasi pada temperatur 550 oC dan tekanan 10 Bar. Bentuk perusahaan yang akan digunakan pada pabrik ini adalah Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi Line dan Staff, dipimpin oleh seorang Direktur dengan total karyawan 197 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, pabrik VCM ini layak untuk didirikan karena telah memenuhi berbagai macam persyaratan parameter ekonomi
