Abstract
The purpose of this research was to know the character moleculer character of which indicated through the early growth of seedlings duku indicated and the the characteristics of leaf The information of the early growht of seedlings and the leaf of characteristics can be use as an indication of the molecler's changes in duku and can be known how long the effective and appropriate of soaking time to produce plan.ts that are polyploid. The research was conducted in the laboratory plant genetic's agriculture departmen sriwijaya university from March 2015 to October 2015. The first stage of doing soaking seeds with colchicine and distiled water for 3, 5 and 7 days. The seeds have been soaked be planted and doing observation. In each treatment contained 10 plants. Variables observed were percentage of the living plants, percentage of the poliembrioni, the number of stomata, the density of stomata, the size of stomata and the color of the leaves. The reasult show a that the solution of colchicine is 0,2% with a soaking time of 3, 5 and 7 days cause the early growth of seedlings from duku became slow but the seedling still be able to survive and the diversity of leaf's anatomy indicated the characters of moleculer's change, that can be expeccted to produce seedless plants.
