Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of age, work experience, number of dependent children, and husband's income on married-women workers productivity in the songket industry in Indralaya sub-district. The data used in this study are primary data from 30 respondents in Muara Penimbung Ilir Village, Indralaya sub-district. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that age (X1) had a positive and significant effect with a probability of 0.000 < 0.05 on married-women workers productivity. Work experience (X2) also has a positive and significant effect on married-women workers productivity (Y) with a probability of 0.003 <0.05. At the same time, the number of dependent children (X3) and husband's income (X4) have a negative and significant effect on married-women workers productivity (Y). The result R2 of 0.616 indicates that the independent variable contributes to the dependent variable by 61.6 percent, while 38.4 percent is affected by other factors of the research model.
