Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of producing valid and practical teaching materials in the form of student worksheet based on Creative Problem Solving that can be use to see the abstraction ability of the abservation patterns type of junor high school students class IX. Subject deep this research was a CPS based student work sheet which was tested on 9 grade IX students. The research method used is the development of develompemt study which consists of 2 stage, namely the preliminary stage (preperation stage, analysis stage, and design stage) and the formative evaluation stage (self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group). The validity of the student worksheet is determined based one the results of validation sheet by 3 expert and one-toone trials, practicality is determined based on response questionnaires students are given after the small group trials. Based on the result of development can be concluded that student worksheet based on Creative Problem Solving is declared valid with a percentage of 82,5% and practical with a percentage 85%, so that it can be used as a learning resource for grade IX students.
