Abstract

ROM is one of the non-pharmacological therapies in stroke patients which aims to increase muscle strength in patients. The purpose of this Literature Review is to determine the effect and benefits of the effectiveness of ROM therapy in stroke patients. This study is a Systematic Literature Review. The source of search for journals in this study is are Google Scholar, an article published from 2011-2020, an intervention journal to overcome muscle weakness in stroke patients, a non-pharmacological intervention, an efficient intervention based on research results and easy interventions. Based on ten journals according to inclusion criteria. Based on ten journals about the effectiveness of ROM exercises on increasing muscle strength in stroke patients prove that 100% ROM exercise is effective in overcoming the problem of muscle weakness in stroke patients. Range of Motion (ROM) exercises used in selected journals namely, two active and passive Range of Motion (ROM). Based on 10 journals selected according to inclusion criteria, it can be concluded that ROM exercises are effective in increasing muscle strength.
