Abstract
The research to describe students' responses to learning mathematics using ethnomatematics contexts of the Balaputera Dewa Palembang Museum. The research subjects were students of SMP Negeri 19 Palembang. This research is a descriptive study, where the researcher is the main instrument as in collecting data through literature study, observation, documentation, questionnaires, and interviews. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of mathematics learning by using the ethnomatematics context of the Balaputera Dewa Palembang Museum on the of rectangular and triangular flat shapes obtained an average student response of 39.6 students gave happy responses, 41.5 students gave interested responses, 42.66 The students responded that the learning given was a new lesson and the average score of 40 students gave an interested response to the learning given. These four aspects are at very positive response intervals.
