Abstract

PT Bumiwarna Agung Perkasa is a company engaged in the mining, processing and marketing of granite, located in Air Mesu village, Central Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Province. Granite is widely used as a building construction material, as a decorative stone for exterior and interior purposes, as a road hardener, and as a material for the construction of shipyards for docks, and for dam construction. The process of unloading rocks is carried out by drilling and blasting. In blasting operations, the blasting pattern is adjusted to the existing drilling pattern. From the calculation that has been done, it can be concluded that the drilling performance at PT. Bumiwarna Agung Perkasa was able to reach a production of 43,615.04 tons / month for the Sandvik Dx 800 drill bit, while the Furukawa PCR 200 drill bit was 32,168.64 tons / month. So the actual drilling productivity in December was 75,783.48 tons. The parameters that affect the performance of drilling operations are the drilling cycle time, where there are factors that affect drilling performance, namely the drill rod is pinched due to collapsing material during the drill and during maneuvers, while the parameters that affect the blasting operation activities, the powder factor value of the actual blasting geometry and The size of the blasting fragmentation is not in accordance with the target of the company. The cost of dismantling the granite rock is the sum of the owning costs and the variable costs from drilling to blasting activities. The total cost of dismantling the granite rock incurred by PT Bumiwarna Agung Perkasa is IDR 2,378,155.19 / hour.
