Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan kalium sulfat dengan kapasitas produksi 20.000 ton/tahun ini direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2025 di Kabupaten Gresik, Provinsi Jawa Timur yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area sebesar 3,8 Ha. Bahan baku dari pembuatan kalium sulfat ini adalah asam sulfat dan kalium klorida. Proses pembuatan kalium klorida ini mengacu pada WO Patent 2018/052767 A1 dengan mereaksikan asam sulfat dan kalium klorida membentuk kalium bisulfat, dan kalium bisulfat bereaksi kembali dengan kalium klorida membentuk kalium sulfat. Reaktor pertama dan kedua adalah reaktor jenis continuous stirred tank reactor. Reaktor pertama beroperasi pada temperatur 80oC dan tekanan 0,412 atm sedangkan reaktor kedua beroperasi pada temperatur 100oC dan tekanan 1 atm. Bentuk perusahaan yang akan digunakan pada pabrik ini adalah Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi Line dan Staff, dipimpin oleh seorang Direktur dengan total karyawan 157 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, pabrik kalium sulfat layak untuk didirikan karena telah memenuhi berbagai macam persyaratan parameter ekonomi, yaitu sebagai berikut: • Total Capital Investment (TCI) = US $ 20.360.937,146 • Total Penjualan = US $ 21.688.291,602 • Total Production Cost (TPC) = US $ 10.651.067,182 • Annual Cash Flow (ACF) = US $ 9.209.299,751 • Pay Out Time = 2,00 Tahun • Rate Of Return On Investment (ROR) = 37,945% • Net Present Value (NPV) = US $ 11.037.224,420 • Break Even Point (BEP) = 29,522% • Shut Down Point (SDP) = 21,242% • Service Life = 11 Tahun
