Abstract

Kewenangan Organisasi Notaris terhadap Notaris yang melanggar Kode Etik Notaris dalam menjalankan profesinya. Bagaimana kewenangan Ikatan Notaris Indonesia (INI) dalam rangka pencegahan pelanggaran terhadap kode etik notaris dan Bagaimana kewenangan Ikatan Notaris Indonesia (INI) dalam menangani notaris yang melakukan pelanggaran kode etik notaris. Metode penelitian Normatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa INI memberikan pembekalan terhadap calon notaris dalam rangka pemahaman kode etik notaris serta melakukan ujian kode etik notaris dan dalam penegakan hukum terhadapan pelanggaran kode etik notaris, INI melalui Dewan Kehormatan berkoordinasi dengan Majelis Pengawas berwenang memberikan sanksi. Seharusnya INI lebih aktif dan proaktif dalam menjalankan tugas pembinaan dan pengawasan terhadap anggotanya dan juga seharusnya INI memberikan rekomendasi atas pelanggaran kode etik kepada Majelis Pengawas.
