Abstract

This research is entitled “The Effect of Learning Model Application Of Team Games, Tournament (TGT) Toward Students’ Motivation Learning at class X Senior High School 2 Tanjung Raja”. The type of research used in this research is experimental research. Problem formulation of this thesis is whether there is effect of learning model application of Team Games Tournament (TGT) toward students’ motivation learning in history subject in class X SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Raja. The research aimed to find out whether there is effect of learning model application of Team Games Tournament (TGT) toward students’ motivation learning in history subject in class X SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Raja. The sample in this research was class X Social Sciences of class X IPS 2 as an experimental class using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used in this study were by using questionnaires , data analysis techniques used in this research were questionnaire data normality test, data homogenity test, test t with Significant tcount ˂ ttable with real level (ɑ = 0, 05). Based on data analysis from the prolem formula, the results are otained tcount = 5,40 and consulted ttable at can 2,0168. So that based on the results of data analysis obtained results tcount ˂ ttable that is 5,40 > 2,0168 then accept Ha reject Ho. Thus it can be conclude that the Team Games Tournament learning model has an effect on the learning motivation of students in history subjects in class X Senior High School Number 2 Tanjung Raja
