Abstract

The aim of this study is hopelessness has a role toward with the quality of life of the wife that lives in the official house of PT.X Gandus subdistrict. The hypothesis of the study that hopelessness has a role toward quality of life at wife that lives in official house of PT.X Gandus subsdistrict. The research population in this study were wife that lived in the official house of PT.X Gandus subdistrict. The research samples in this study were 50 for try out and 150 wife that lived in the official house of PT.X Gandus. This study used sampling probability technique. Measuring instruments in this study used a scale of WHOQOL-Bref (2012) that refers to the World Healtth Organization and hopelessness scales that refer to the aspect of Beck, Weissman, Lester, & Trexler (1974). The research used simple regression correlation analysis. The results showed that hopelessness has a role toward quality of life, r = 0,536 and p-values p = 0.000 (p<0.05). Therefore, the hypothesis are accepted.
