Abstract

Changing the auction system from conventional to the digital era is a new step implemented by the KPKNL through the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia to modernize auction activities. The study entitled Effectiveness of the Implementation of State Property Auction (BMN) at the Palembang City KPKNL was motivated by the problem of adjusting changes to the existing system. The purpose of this study is to see the extent to which the success or effectiveness of auction activities has changed from conventional systems to the modern era. To find out the problem, the theory used by the writer is the theory of effectiveness according to Richard M. Steers who sees effectiveness through three things, namely: Input, Process, and Output. The research method used by the writer is a qualitative research method based on the results of direct interviews with informants and documentation. The results showed that the online auction was effective and fulfilled the target, only that there were still some obstacles such as managerial constraints, there were still many cases of fraud, and sometimes there was an interruption in the auction system which resulted in the auction being delayed.
