Abstract
This study discusses the uniform power strategy on PWR (Pressurizer Water Reactor) based on MOX (Mixed Oxide) fuel. Fuel cell neutronic calculations and reactor terraces are performed using the PIJ and CITATION modules in the SRAC program package. JENDL 3.2. The targeted design parameters are conversi ratio, atomic density, infinity multiplication factor (kinf), effective multiplication factor (keff) and power distribution distribution. The design criteria for the efficiency of fuel use are made by comparing several diameter designs and the arrangement of fuel cells. From the calculation results obtained from the design of the 1 to the design of the 4 distribution of power evenly distributed, while at the 5th design with the addition of ThO2 power distribution up and uneven shown by the increase peak / average nya that is 1.5660083, then this is necessary improved in a way, the strategies used need to be in the investigation of more designs, so that the design of heterogeneous fuel preparation efforts obtained a long-lived terrace but has a uniform distribution of power.
