Abstract

West Java is one of the areas in Indonesia that has high disaster vulnerability. This condition is affected by the complex geological order resulting in damage during an earthquake disaster. One of them is the earthquake in Tasikmalaya with a strength of 7.2 M on September 2, 2009, severe damage is in Cibeureum District, although this area is not too close to the epicenter but the soft soil conditions resulted in the area there is much damage to the building therefore the knowledge of the condition of the soil condition locally becomes a very important part in estimating the hazard of the soil movement specifically, to know the dangers of earthquake, the local seismic vulnerability index is assessed using the Shear Strain (GSS) table to know soil dynamics and mean shear wave velocities at depths up to 30 m ( ) treated by Horizontal to Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR) and Muthichannel Surface Wave (MASW) Inverse Analyzes classified using SNI 1726 -2012 after getting the value it will be dival idasi using earthquake damage data September 2, 2009. Based on the measurement, the damage is severe in Awipari Village Kec. Cibeureum, Tasikmalaya City, West Java, which is badly damaged 41, moderate damage and damaged light 200 building data valid with 5,1 - 8,18 Hz, GSS with and according to the value has a moderate but near soft grade with a value of 196 - 260 m / s, from the data in case of Awipari Awuat village Awareness of soil susceptibility to high deformation and natural phenomena severe soil damage with soil dynamics properties that descend to shifting.
