Abstract

Processing of pharmaceutical and clinical pharmaceutical preparations is carried out as an effort to control drug supplies so that availability is maintained and as an effort to avoid errors in administering drugs as well as allergies due to drug side effects so that service quality is guaranteed. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to see how the implementation of the pharmaceutical service policy at Tanjung Batu health center based on Permenkes No. 74 of 2016. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. There were 10 informants in the study. The selection of informants is selected based on the principles of suitability and adequacy of information. One of the minimum criteria for informants is being directly involved in the implementation of pharmaceutical services at the Tanjung Batu Health Center. The results of the research show that the implementation of pharmaceutical service policies has not been implemented optimally. Processing of pharmaceutical preparations and BMHP has been carried out in its entirety but has not been maximized in planning, receiving and storage activities. Clinical pharmacy services that are new to the assessment and prescription services, drug information services, counseling, and drug use evaluation, have not been implemented optimally. The implementation of SOPs is quite good. Conclusion, overall the implementation of pharmaceutical services has not been fully implemented properly, it is expected that it is necessary to optimize the activities of pharmaceutical services and be supported by adequate human resources and improvement of infrastructure to avoid the constraints of drug shortages and errors in irrational drug use.
