Abstract

The problem of this research is what are the moral teachings of Islam contained in the novel Negeri 5 Menara by Ahmad Fuadi. The purpose of this study was to determine the moral teachings of Islam in the novel Negeri 5 Menara by Ahmad Fuadi. To achieve this goal, a descriptive analysis method was used with novel data sources from Negeri 5 Menara. To get the results of these studies, used data collection techniques using documentation techniques that are closely related to data collection. Then analyzed by step identifying the moral teachings of Islam contained in the novel, classifying Islamic moral teachings contained in the novel, describing Islamic moral teachings in the novel and concluding the results of the study. Based on the research that has been done, the results are in the form of Islamic moral teachings, namely there are 32 relationships with God, 12 relationships with the Apostles, 24 relations with oneself, 10 relationships with families, 20 relations with the community in Ahmad Fuadi'sNegeri 5 tower novel. Thirty-two relationships with God include (6) sincerity, (9) trust, (16) thanksgiving, (1) repentance. Twelve relations with the Prophet include (12) reviving the Sunnah of the Prophet. Twenty-four relationships with oneself include (4) trust, (1) istiqomah, (13) tawaduk, (3) shame, (1) patience, (2) forgiving. Ten relationships with families include (5) serving with parents, (3) fulfilling rights and obligations to children, (2) establishing friendly relations with relatives. Twenty relationships with the community include (6) good relations with neighbors and society, (8) association of Muslim youth, (1) fair, (1) amarma'rufnahimunkar, (4) deliberation.
