Abstract

The Banking business receives deposits from depositor and expands loans o debitors. To know banking financial performance, we can see from the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non-Performing Loan (NPL) and Return On Assets (ROA). The objectives of this research are to know the impact of (1) LDR to ROA in the Banking Sector (2) NPL to ROA and (3) independent variables LDR and NPL to the dependent variable is ROA. This research used secondary data and processed with SPSS Program Release 11.5 using the classic assumption test, partial regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, qualitative analysis, using correlation and determination which the conclusions in this study based on the results of F test (simultaneous). The test results showed that the F test (simultaneous) variable LDR and NPL together have a significant influence on the variable ROA. Partially, only the variable LDR that have a significant effect on ROA, while the variable NPL had no significant effect on ROA. Based on the results of the study, the writer suggests management of bank should take advantage of existing assets and raise the position of Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) at levels above 88% and maintain the position of the NPL position under 5%.
