Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan multirepresentasi siswa pada pokok bahasan termodinamika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini melibatkan 31 orang siswa kelas XII IPA 1 SMA Negeri 2 Prabumulih tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan secara online melalui aplikasi Zoom Conference dan Google Classroom. Instrumen pegumpulan data menggunakan tes uraian berjumlah 8 buah soal yang direpresentasikan dalam empat format representasi yaitu verbal, matematis, grafik, dan gambar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Persentase kemampuan multirepresentasi paling tinggi terletak pada soal tipe matematis (V-M) sebesar 81,72%, dilanjutkan tipe soal verbal (G-V) sebesar 66,12%, tipe soal grafik (V-Gk) sebesar 27,95% dan paling rendah pada tipe soal gambar (V-Gm) dengan persentase sebesar 24,19%. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran terkait kemampuan multirepresentasi pokok bahasan termodinamika pada siswa kelas XII IPA I SMA Negeri 2 Prabumulih.
