Abstract

This study entitled "The Phenomenon of the Puyang Magrang Sakti Pilgrimage Grave Grave in Talang Tinggi Village, Pseksu District, Lahat Regency. The research problem in research on how the social actions of pilgrims around the Puyang shrine. This research is a qualitative study using a phenomenological research strategy. The unit of analysis in this study is an individual, namely the individual of pilgrims who make a pilgrimage to the Puyang Magrang Sakti grave of Talang Tinggi Village. In-depth interview data collection on 13 informants and direct observation and documentation. The results of this study try to describe how the social actions of pilgrims that occur at the puyang magrang sakti grave are then analyzed into four social actions put forward by Max Weber, namely social actions, rationality of tools and goals, social actions, rational values, intellectual and traditional actions, of In this study, there are four social actions around the puyang grave which are analyzed into four theories of Max Weber's social action. The first is to take ablution water before performing the pilgrimage and read prayer, yasin, and short surah including rational values and the second is payment of vows. entering into affective action, the third and fourth are included in traditional actions, namely the third taking wooden actions along the length of the hand to see whether the prayer will be answered or not, the fourth reason for making a pilgrimage to the grave of puyang magrang sakti is included in traditional action Keywords: Pilgrimage, social action, Puyang Tomb
