Abstract

This research is entiled to analyze the social penetration process of new student in the organization. social penetration or social penetration in general discusses how the interpersonal communication process is namely how to other people. the method in this research is descriptive quantitative, in which research is collected throught distributing questionares, observation and documentation study. The Theory used in this research is the social penetration theory which consists of four dimensions, namely the orientation stage, the stable exchange stage, the affective exchange and the stable exchange stage, it can be concluded that in general, the social penetration process of new students is carried out well and brings changes to new students Keywords: Social Penetration, Organization, Student
