Abstract

The research of this thesis is done at Lahat Regency, il is about the factors that influence superior economy sector in period 1994 - 2003. The data that used in this research is seconder data gathered from Biro Pusat Statistik (BPS), Bank Indonesia and other sources. The method used to analysis is Location Quotients (LQ) and Regression. From 1Q analysis result, be found four superior economy sector in Lahat Regency, it is Agriculture Sector, Construction Sector, Money, Rent and Enterprise Service Sector and then Service Sector. From this research we gel nine superior economy sub sector at Lahat Regency, like sub sector Plans of food, Plantation, ranch and fishery, excavation, highway transportation, money institution non bank, rent construction, public administration . from the result of regression, we concluded Lahat foreign investment and generation of work have positive influential for superior economy sector.
