Abstract
Wastewater always form during tofu production. Tofu wastewater contain high organic compund especially protein. Protein in tofu wastewater will be degraded by proteolytic bacteria caused by protease activity. Protease from bacteria was the most widely used in the world. This research is aimed to get proteolytic bacteria from tofu wastewater and to know the phylogeny relation from each other. The research have done by November 2020 to January 2021 at Genetic and Biotechnology Laboratorium, Biology Department Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science, Sriwijaya University. For isolate of proteolytic bacteria succesfully identified there are RCP_01, RCP_02, RCP_03, and RCP_04. Isolate RCP_01 similar 98,37% with Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain ATCC 10145 and has close related with. RCP_02 similar 91,23% with Bacillus nitratrieducens strain MCCC 1A00732 but has not close related with. RCP_03 has close related and similar 97,55% with Bacillus flexus strain IFO15715. RCP_04 similar 97,17% with Bacillus paramycoides strain MCCC 1A04098 and has close phylogeny relation.
