Abstract

The objective of this research was to find out the effect of banking credit in the sectors of agriculture and industry toward the agricultural and industrial growth sectors in South Sumatera. The data used in this study were secondary data “Time Series” (1990-2004) which were obtained from official publications and authorized institutions. The data were analyzed by using simple linear regression model. The research findings showed that the banking credit in the sectors of agriculture and industry affected positively the growth of agricultural and industrial sectors in South Sumatera.
