Abstract

This research purpose is analyzing influence of the economy growth to Fiscal Decentralization Degrees in Palembang. The analyzed variables are growth of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) with gasoline fixed-price calculated of basic year 1993 as economy growth indicator and Fiscal Decentralization Degrees. The used data type is secondary which source from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) South Sumatera dan Palembang, Dinas Pendapatan Daerah (DIPENDA) Palembang, Palembang City Government, Badan Perencanaan dan Pembangunan Daerah (BAPPEDA) Palembang, website, literature, etc. This research used simple regression linear method of analyzing. The result show Coefficient Correlation (R) 0,884 indicated rapidly correlation between Fiscal Decentralization Degrees (DD) and Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Coefficient determination (R-square) 0,782 indicated that Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was able to explain Fiscal Decentralization Degrees (DD) adjustment until 78,2 percent and 21,8 percent influenced by the other external factors. Coefficient regression (r) of Gross Domestic Product 0,667 means every one percent value added of GDP will increase Fiscal Decentralization Degrees amount of 0,667 percent by considering the other variables are fixed (ceteris paribus). Coefficient regression (r) 0,667 (e<l) means inelastic.
