Abstract
Membran Polyvinylidene Flouride/Grafen berbasis serat nano berhasil disintesis dengan menggunakan metode Electrospinning untuk aplikasi penyaring air. Serat nano PVDF/Grafen dibuat dengan variasi konsentrasi PVDF sebesar 15% (b/b), 20% (b/b) dan 25% (b/b) serta penambahan 6% Grafen pada setiap sampel larutan. Kemudian membran serat nano dianalisis berdasarkan karakterisasi morfologi bentuk dan uji mekanik membran. Pada hasil mikroskop menunjukan hasil serat nano yang dihasilkan adalah homogen dan bebas manik-manik dengan rentang diameter rata-rata berukuran 100 - 400 nm. Peningkatan konsentrasi polimer menyebabkan diameter serat nano yang dihasilkan semakin besar. Penambahan Grafen dalam larutan PVDF juga meningkatkan diameter serat nano yang dihasilkan. Pada uji kuat mekanik, penebalan diameter serat dapat menyebabkan kekuatan tarik menurun dan tegangan pada serat yang besar akan menghasilkan Modulus Young yang besar juga.
