Abstract

The aim of the research is to discover the response of the growth of spinach, mustard greens and water spinach in various hydroponic solutions. The method by used in this research is Split Plot Design. The Factors of fertilizer solution as the main plot and the type of plant as the subplot. The main plot consists of two treatments, namely AB mix (N1) solution and alternative nutrient solution (N2). The subplot consists of three types of plants. They are Spinach (S1), Mustard Greens (S2), and Water Spinach (S3).The result shows that there is no interaction between fertilizer solution and plant type. The treatment of AB mix fertilizer solutions compared to alternative nutrient solutions gave the big result for plant height and leaf greenness, but they do not have significant effect on the number of leaves, wet weight and root volume. Alternative nutrient solutions can be used instead of AB Mix solution. Keywords: nutrient, hydroponics, leaf vegetables
