Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perlakuan kombinasi pupuk organik arang sekam padi dan pupuk kotoran ayam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kubis bunga. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei 2018 sampai dengan Agustus 2018 di Jakabaring, Palembang, Sumatera Selatan. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 9 perlakuan 3 ulangan masing - masing perlakuan terdiri dari 3 tanaman. Perlakuan terdiri dari tanpa arang sekam padi + tanpa kotoran ayam (P0), 250 g arang sekam padi tanaman-1 + tanpa pupuk kotoran ayam (P1), 250 g arang sekam padi tanaman-1 + 250 g pupuk kotoran ayam tanaman-1 (P2), 250 g arang sekam padi tanaman-1 + 500 g pupuk kotoran ayam tanaman-1 (P3), 250 g arang sekam padi tanaman-1 + 750 g pupuk kotoran ayam tanaman-1 (P4), 500 g arang sekam padi tanaman-1 + tanpa pupuk kotoran (P5), 500 g arang sekam padi tanaman-1 + 250 g pupuk kotoran ayam tanaman-1 (P6), 500 g arang sekam padi tanaman-1 + 500 g pupuk kotoran ayam tanaman-1 (P7), 500 g arang sekam padi tanaman-1 + 750 g pupuk kandang ayam tanaman-1 (P8). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian arang sekam padi 500 g tanaman-1 dengan kotoran ayam 500 g tanaman-1 (P7) adalah perlakuan terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kubis bunga. Hal ini tercermin pada peubah jumlah daun, umur berbunga, umur panen, berat segar keseluruhan tanaman dan berat segar komersial kubis bunga.
