Abstract

The main object of this research is to analyze the influence of economic institutions and transmigrant characteristic with transmigrant income in UPT Air Kumbang Padang. The data that used in this research is primary data. By using the regression test that formulated in a linear regression, the regression result shows that transmigrant characteristic (number of family member) significantly influence the income of transmigrant. Y= 1,378 + 0,331 X1+ ei with t statistic > t table (2,984 > 1,66).
