Abstract

As a part of community that consisted of diverse background, not only have to face the social reality such as diversity, but the community of Komplek Sukarami Indah also have to face the conflict. However, Komplek Sukarami Indah is completely different, they have scanty conflict about it. The purpose of this research is to understand the process and the factors of the construction with Social Construction of Reality by Peter L. Berger and Thomas Lukmann. This research using qualitative descriptive method. The informants are 7 persons who being active at activity of Komplek Sukarami Indah and have been stayed for 5 years in Komplek Sukarami Indah. The technique of collecting data with in-depth interviews as the main method, observation, and documentation as supporting methods. The result of this research claimed that the community of Komplek Sukarami Indah has been familiar with the diversity that was there in the first place.
