Abstract
This research is to know what kind of moth and morphology characteristic (order Lepidoptera) at Plantation of Segamit Semendo Plain of Muara Enim Regency has done. The study was conducted from April to May 2017. The method of description by exploration by sampling using light traps (Light Trap). This research found 6 families of 9 species, Nyctemera coleta, Gabriola dyra, Euproctis lutea, Noctuidae sp, Acigona sp, Xanthodes albago, Toccolosida rubriceps, Nyctemera baulus, and Asota cariae. The most populous species are the Noctuidae family with 3 species, while the number of families are Arctiidae (1 species), Geometridae (1 species), Lymantridae (1 species) and Pyralidae (1 species). Morphological characters that distinguish between species are very distinctive. Noctuidae, Gabriola dyra, Nyctemera baulus, Nyctemera coleta, Asota caricae, Euproctis lutea, Acigona sp, and Toccolosida rubriceps have round head, Xantrodhes albago has an oblong head. Noctuidae, Gabriola dyra, Nyctemera coleta, Asota caricae and Acigona sp have bipectinate antenna type. Nyctemera baulus and Euprcotis lutea have serate antenna type. Xandthodes albago and Toccolosida rubriceps have a stylate antenna type. Noctuidae, Gabriola dyra, Asota caricae. Euproctis lutea and Xandthodes albago have a short fat abdominal shape. Nyctemera baulus, Nyctemera coleta, Acigona sp, Toccolosida rubriceps have a long abdominal shape.
