Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the "Socio-Economic Impact of E-Warong's Presence as a Location for the Distribution of Chcap Groceries for Groceries in Rural Areas" with the formulation of the problem of how the socio-economic impact of E-Warong's presence on groceries in rural arcas and how the Socio-Economic Impact of E- Warong Agninst Socio- Economic Stability of Grocery Traders in Rural Areas. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data sources uscd are primary and secondary data obtained by rescarchers through a process of interviews and obscrvations made by rescarchers at the location and research object. The data is then analyzed on the basis of Armor's theory of social change and Bruce J. Cohen's theory of economic change. From the data analysis carried out, it is concluded that E-wareng does not have a significant impact on foodstuff traders in rural areas, seen from the aspects of way of life, community, culture, income, economic activity and expnditure, and does not also have an impact on the socio-cconomic stability of the food staple traders especially in Kalangan Market, Tanjung Sakti PUMI District, Lahat Regency Keywords: E-Warong, socio-economic impact, grceries traders
