Abstract

In a university, students can not only learn properly. However, they can also develop the soft skills what they have by following an organization on the inside of campus or the outside of campus. Most people think that the organization will make the duration of student studies longer, but reality is not entirely true. In fact, there are some students who focus on the organization but remain good in their studies In this study, Hybrid Elephant Search Algorithm and Backpropogation algorithm have been used. Elephant Search Algorithm is used for data selection in the dataset. Meanwhile, the Backpropogation algorithm is used to create a model through proccess training data. The results of the accuracy level become main reference in comparing the performance level of the algorithm. Backpropogation algorithm training uses 2 datasets including, intact dataset and dataset selected by the Elephant Search Algorithm. Obtained an accuracy of 93.33%, the results obtained far improved with the selection data by the Elephant Search Algorithm into the Backpropogation algorithm.
