Abstract

Keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak merupakan bentuk keikutsertaan dan kehadiran orang tua baik di sekolah dan di rumah dalam proses belajar yang diikuti anak sehingga orang tua mengalami apa yang dialami anak mereka dalam proses pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana bentuk keterlibatan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah lima orang tua di KB Mona yang memiliki anak usia tiga hingga enam tahun, kepala sekolah dan dua guru. Teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua sudah terlibat dalam pendidikan anak tetapi dari empat bentuk keterlibatan orang tua, tiga diantaranya menunjukkan bahwa orang tua sudah sungguh-sungguh terlibat dengan memberikan perlindungan seperti mengajarkan pertolongan pertama, memberikan penguatan verbal. Pada dukungan seperti menyiapkan kebutuhan pendidikan anak, memberikan motivasi, dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang nyaman. Pada pengawasan bagi anak baik di rumah maupun di sekolah seperti memantau kegiatan anak bermain gawai, memantau kegiatan belajar anak diluar kelas, dan memperhatikan potensi yang dimiliki anak untuk dikembangkan. Sedangkan pada satu bentuk keterlibatan yaitu kerja sama antara orang tua dan sekolah menunjukkan hasil masih kurangnya antusias orang tua dalam kegiatan sukarelawan seperti membantu mengumpulkan tugas dan penerapan pembiasaan membaca doa sebelum dan sesudah belajar. Sehingga bagi orang tua, perlu adanya peningkatan kesadaran dan kepedulian dalam memperlancar proses belajaranak dan bekerja sama dengan kelompok bermain melalui kegiatan seperti relawan dan program parenting. Kata Kunci : keterlibatan orang tua, anak usia dini, kelompok bermain. ABSTRACT The involvement of parents in children's education is a form of participation and presence of parents both at school and at home in the learning process followed by children so that parents experience what their children experience in the education process. This study aims to determine how the form of parental involvement in children's education. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were five parents in KB Mona with children aged three to six years, the principal and two teachers. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results showed that parents were already involved in children's education but of the four forms of parental involvement, three of them showed that parents were really involved by providing protection such as teaching first aid, providing verbal reinforcement. On support such as preparing children's educational needs, providing motivation, and creating a comfortable learning atmosphere. On supervision for children both at home and at school, such as monitoring children's activities playing gadgets, monitoring children's learning activities outside the classroom, and paying attention to the potential of children to be developed. Meanwhile, in one form of involvement, namely collaboration between parents and schools, the results showed that parents were still less enthusiastic in volunteer activities such as helping to collect assignments and implementing the habit of reading prayers before and after learning. So for parents, it is necessary to increase awareness and concern in facilitating the children's learning process and working together with play groups through activities such as volunteering and parenting programs.
