Abstract

This study aims to find out the role of village government in improving the creativity of adolescents during the covid-19 pandemic in Mendis Village, Bayung Lencir Subdistrict, Musi Banyuasin Regency. Informants in this study as many as eight people obtained using purposive sampling techniques. This research uses descriptive methods with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are documentation, interview and observation techniques. Data validity tests used include credibility test, transferability test, dependability test and confirmability test. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion presentation. Based on data analysis, it is known that the role of village government in improving youth creativity during the covid-19 pandemic in Mendis Village is by providing educational understanding related to the importance of youth creativity, providing direction and socialization and supporting all youth activities.
