Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini, adalah untuk menganalisa dan mengetahui bagaimana efisiensi industri pada industri bengkel las pembuatan tenda di Kota Palembang. Nilai efisiensi dihitung berdasarkan perbandingan nilai tambah dengan input yang digunakan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik non random sampling. Produk yang dihasilkan oleh 13 sampel bengkel las pembuatan tenda adalah jumlah seluruh tenda fiber, tenda aluminium, dan tenda auning yang dihasilkan berdasarkan pesanan selama satu bulan. Berdasarkan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa efisiensi industri pada industri bengkel las pembuatan tenda adalah tidak efisien, terlihat dari nilai efisiensi yang kurang dari 1, hanya sebesar 0,35417933. Hal ini diakibatkan oleh rendahnya nilai output atau nilai jual tenda dan besarnya penggunaan biaya madya serta adanya pemborosan dalam penggunaan bahan baku dan bahan penolong.
