Abstract

The Purpose this research are (1) to find out efficiency of polywood industry, (2) to find out productivity of labour development in polywood industry, (3) to find out the growth of export polywood industry, (4) to find out the relation between efficiency and productivity of labour with the growth of export polywood industry in Indonesia, by using database in 1994-2005. Efficiency rate of polywood industry in Indonesia include efficient with average of efficiency rate is 0,62. The Productivity of labour in this industry increase about 14,87 percent every years. The volume of export in polywood industry at Indonesia in experience decreasing with average volume of export is negative 7,38 percent every years. The relation between efficiency and the growth of export volume on period 1994-2005 include positive, while the relation between productivity of labour with growth of export volume in polywood industry experience is negative. To repair the condition of polywood industry about efficiency, productivity of labour, and the growth of export volume, it needs support from govemment to over all of polywood industry in Indonesia.
