Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that caused low self control of student A of Srijaya Negara High School Palembang. The objective of this study was the factor that caused the low self-control of student A . The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative using a case study approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were interview on the subject, family, school, classmates, and counseling teachers, observations at school and home of student A, study documentation student counseling book, and anecdote notes in guidance and counseling. Data analysis technique used in this study was Ishikawa diagram or fishbone.The results showed that the main factors that caused student A experience the lower control was the the student A as a child did not get a good parenting that impacts on the development process such as: impaired social relationships, inability to control emotions, aggressive behavior verbal and physical aggressive behavior.
