Abstract

This research is t o analyze the injluence of investment (FDI and DI) and exchange rata jluclualion lo injlation in Indonesia by asing Ordinary Leasl Square (OLS) method and dala used is time series secondary datafrom 19S0-2008, ihal are injlation, investmenl (FDI and DI), and e.rchange rate. Afler OLS is done, the best model used in this research is autoregressive mode! without constant variable, /ha/ used lag variable. Because of the model, independent variable have change be an investmenl (lag2INV), exchange rate (KRS and lagIKRS), and injlation (lagiINF). Resull of the research show t ha t simulfaneously, independent variable have a significant impact on injlation in Indonesia, while partially investmenl (lag2INV). exchange rate (KRS and lagIKRS) have a significant positive impact on injlation: Injlation (lagiINF) have a significant and negative effect on injlation in Indonesia.
