Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) o n Return on Equity (ROE) ofpublic national private banking period of firsl quarter 2004 through fourth quarter 2008. The r e suit of this research shows that Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) doesnJt affect significantly on Return on Equity (ROE) of public national private banking, whereas Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) negatively affect on Return on Equity (ROE) of public national private banking during research period. Increasing on value of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) will affect to decreasing on value of Return on Equity (ROE). Otherwise, decreasing on Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) will affect to increasing on Return on Equity (ROE).
